MORE INFORMATION ON ROBBIE

Big, loveable lad Robbie turned up at a home in Almeria where he was cared for by a family with young children and cats. He did absolutely brilliantly with them but they weren’t in a position to keep him, so he thankfully bagged himself a spot with one of our amazing fosters where he was living in a home with lots of other dogs and he did really well - good with the other dogs, and he was relaxed around the home. Robbie then made his way to the UK and into a home but has struggled to settle since arriving and is finding everything a bit too exciting and overwhelming. Its still really early days for him and we know he’ll start to learn to relax in time as he’s shown he can do it with the foster in Spain.

We’re ideally looking for a home with one or two well balanced dogs that enjoy a play but can also show him the way and help him relax and sleep during the day. We can also provide lots of ongoing support and guidance from our trainer to help with this. Robbie is currently underweight so he’s very heightened around food - this will also be playing into his general over exuberance! He’s currently getting 3 decent meals a day and treats in between to get a bit of weight back on and we’re confident that once he has, he’ll be a little more content and settle easier. We’re looking for a home that will work with us to get Robbie into a regular routine and help him to switch off. He’s a wonderful boy that is very people focused and loves humans.

He’s used to being out and about, walking on a lead although is a big boy so can be strong! He is also good in the car.

Robbie is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
