MORE INFORMATION ON ROBBIE
Big, loveable lad Robbie turned up at a home in Almeria where he was cared for by a family with young children and cats. He did absolutely brilliantly with them but they weren’t in a position to keep him, so he thankfully bagged himself a spot with one of our amazing fosters.
Since arriving he has really shown his wonderful character - he’s an absolute charmer with a cheeky, playful side - really just the ultimate family dog! He adores human contact although like many pods can be a little cautious meeting new people but soon warms up. He loves to be the centre of human attention so will barge other dogs out the way to get the fuss! He’s good with other dogs but resident dogs will need to be advocated for in the home so he doesn’t always get his way. At the moment he’s not engaging in much play with the other dogs but we expect that will come in time. He’d be just as happy as an only dog, and can live in a variety of environments. Be warned - he thinks he’s a lapdog, despite almost weighing 30kg! And he loves to clean your ears for you too - just such a character, he’s hard not to fall in love with.
He’s used to being out and about, walking on a lead and does well. He is also good in the car.
Robbie will be neutered, is vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
