MORE INFORMATION ON PRINCESS
Princesses hunter ended up going to jail, and when other hunters raided his kennel to take his dogs, Princess was too nervous for them to be interested so she and a few others were overlooked which is when one of our wonderful partners stepped in to help her and the others.
Since then she has been living in a foster home and when she relaxes around people she knows, her true cheeky self shows. With strangers she can be a little aloof at first until she gets to know you. Princess is frequently found peeking round the corner of the kitchen looking for snacks which she’ll steal given half the chance - she is a real foodie! She gets on better with male dogs or very well balanced females of any size - she is a tiny little podenco but fell in love with a huge Mastin who was 80cm to the shoulder - they made quite the pair! She is very playful with the other dogs and enjoys their company. We think she would prefer another playful dog in the home and a garden to enjoy. A city would likely be a little overwhelming for Princess, but a town or anything more rural would be fine. She struggles a little with a lead and walking, so this will need to be worked on and is another reason why she will need a garden so she can enjoy that in the early days. She could live with older respectful children.
Princess will be neutered and vaccinated and is tested and clear for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
