MORE INFORMATION ON MANUEL
Manuel was rescued by one of our fosters from a local Pererra - how he found his way there, we don’t know but he landed on his feet when he made his way to a home with many other podencos. Living in foster in Spain means he gets to get used to things like the TV, hoover, counter tops etc before making the transition to a home of his own. So far, he hasn’t been phased by any of that and has taken it all in his stride!
He’s a really playful and excitable boy who loves people and dogs alike. He loves his walks and trots along perfectly on the lead - his foster says he has a relatively low prey drive based on what he’s seen so far. He equally loves to snooze his day away on the sofa - he has a really good off switch and is good in the home. He is such a fantastic allrounder that he has very few requirements in a home and would happily live in many different environments. He doesn’t necessarily need another dog or a garden so can be really versatile. He can get a bit overly excitable at times so will need some focus on that and as he’s large sized, it would be better if any children in the home were 10+. He’s just a super boy with such a fantastic character - he’s waited 6 long years for a loving home, could that be with you? He’s really looking for an adopter who can lavish him with the love and attention he deserves as he’s a very affectionate boy.
Manuel is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases excluding Babesia - as already stated he has tested positive and is receiving treatment for this for the all clear. He is passported and available for adoption now.
