MORE INFORMATION ON LARA
Lara was found in a Pererra and was taken out by one of our wonderful ‘super fosters’ where she was quickly diagnosed with pyometra and needed live saving intervention. This has all cleared up, she has been spayed and there are no lasting effects. She is living in a home environment which means she gets exposure to typical things found in a home - the TV, countertops, hoover etc. which can be nerve wracking for some dogs. But Lara is well adjusted to them now and does brilliantly.
Her foster describers her as the ‘perfect dog’ which is high praise! But she really is no bother in the home - she is quiet and will settle well yet also likes to play (she enjoys chasing a tennis ball!). She is sociable with all the other dogs in the home but not needy and could therefore also be an only dog. She’s super quiet and her foster has rarely heard her bark. She walks well on the lead and is also fine with cats. We thing Lara is a great candidate for most homes - she has very few requirements! She could also live with a family who have children as she is confident around people and has a really lovely nature.
Lara is vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases excluding Leish and Anaplasma- as already stated she has tested positive and is receiving treatment. She is passported and available for adoption now..
