Darwin was bred by a well known hunting kennel in Spain that breeds dogs to show all across Europe. He comes from a pedigree line and has not known hardship, but that doesn’t make him any less deserving of a home.

Darwin was retired from showing and breeding and found his way to a pet home to see out his days, but sadly due to no fault of his own, he is looking for a new home. Due to his upbringing, he is very well travelled (he even went to live in Lithuania for a short period) and is very well socialised and well balanced. He is friendly and affectionate with humans. He is used to living in a home, can be left for short periods, is not destructive and is house trained. He is a calm and gentle boy who settles well but is still very active and will need a family who can meet his needs. Other dogs in the home would be lovely for him as he has been used to living with other dogs, but he could also live as an only dog. Given that he is such a wonderful allrounder, he has very few requirements, other than a family that can continue to meet his physical and mental needs. He could live with children, but is not suitable to live with cats.

Darwin is neutered and vaccinated and has tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases apart from Leishmania, where he has low levels on his antibody test, but no clinical signs. As a result we are looking for a home where Leish is better understood. He is passported and available for adoption now.
