MORE INFORMATION ON CRIS
Cris was found in a town on the outskirts of Seville, wandering the streets and looking for food. Thankfully she was caught and made her way to one of our partner kennels where she has been for over a year.
In that time, she has made a lot of progress. In the early days she would try and escape the shelter as she was scared, but she has learned to trust and is now very affectionate at times - even coming up to us when we visited for a fuss which was lovely, as last time we visited (almost a year prior) we couldn’t get near her so it was amazing to see her progress. She likes to be active and to play, she has an independent streak where she is happy in her own company and amusing herself but equally has moments where she loves to be in the company of people. She’s also great with other dogs and we think she would really benefit from another dog in the home. Cris is particularly worried by loud noises - storms, fireworks, shots etc. so we’d be looking for a home where she will experience less of these things and can be kept safe and secure if they do happen as that is when she is most likely to try and escape. A minimum 6ft fence for Cris is needed. When she was first caught, she was living with cats for a short while before she came to the shelter so we are classing her as cat workable.
Cris is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now..
