Chico was rescued and freed from his hunter in Badajoz, he does have a high drey and was a successful hunting dog.

Chico is loved by everyone at the centre and is a happy, confident boy - he knows his name and will come to you for a fuss when called, He happily plays with all dogs in the kennels and loves attention from humans. He is active and walks well on the lead, and he is curious which alongside everything else means he is ready for the next part of his journey - to find that forever home and be spoilt living life as a pet!

We think Chico could cope in pretty much any home set up, he does not need a garden and could live city or rural life. Because he gets so much from humans we don’t think he needs another dog but could also happily live as part of a pack.

Chico is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
