MORE INFORMATION ON CHARLOTTE
Charlotte came from a hunter in a small village in Southern Spain. He gave her up along with 2 galgos and handed her over to one of our partner kennels.
She is a small Podenco Andaluz and is still learning to trust humans but with time she is already progressing and we know that this will continue once she is in a home. She has been through a lot in her short life, as many podencos do and she needs to understand that people are not all bad. She is a calm girl for her age and did very well at the vets. She is fantastic with other dogs of all sizes, and we think she’d ideally benefit from another dog in the home, or a patient owner who is prepared to take things at her pace if she doesn’t have another canine companion to learn the ropes from. She would not be suitable for a city, but a town or village would be fine. We think that a garden would be ideal to give her the freedom and space to get used to her new home without needing to go on walks for toilet breaks initially.
Charlotte will be neutered, vaccinated, and she is tested and clear for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
