MORE INFORMATION ON BONITA
Bonita’s journey began in Spain, where her original family found her in a heartbreaking state while on holiday. They fell instantly in love and brought her home to the UK, genuinely saving her life. As she settled into home life, it became clear that despite everyone’s best intentions, the match wasn’t quite right. With no rescue involved, she had no safety net, so we stepped in and arranged a wonderful foster home to give her the stability she needed.
Today, Bonita is thriving, and her foster family describes her as an absolute bundle of fun with a huge character packed into a tiny frame. She is full of energy, joy and cheeky charm. Cuddly, affectionate and will happily lick your face. She loves visitors and greets people with her whole heart. Bonita is a smart little girl who picks things up fast. She already knows: Sit, Place and Touch. She enjoys learning and would thrive with continued positive training.
Bonita loves playing with doggy pals and needs a home with a similarly energetic dog to keep her entertained. She’s playful, social, and happiest when she has a friend to zoom around with. She also enjoys toys and interactive games. She’s a dog who loves to do. Bonita would make a fantastic canicross dog or adventure buddy. She has the energy, enthusiasm and drive to be a brilliant little sport partner. She is also happy to have a good old snooze afterwards and is currently learning to settle in a crate.
Bonita is a wonderful girl, but she does have one key need: She doesn’t like being left alone and this must be built up very gradually with patience and structure. She’ll thrive in a home that can offer companionship, routine, and plenty of fun. Bonita is a bright, loving, energetic little dog who has already overcome so much. She’s ready for a home that understands her needs, celebrates her big personality, and can offer her the companionship she craves.
She will reward her people with endless affection, hilarious antics, and a lifetime of loyalty.
Bonita is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases excluding Leish - as already stated she has tested positive and is receiving treatment. She is passported and available for adoption now.
