Cisco kam 2019 im Hope For Podencos Zentrum an, zusammen mit seiner Mutter Belle Star, die, ob Sie es glauben oder nicht, ein vollwertiger Podenco Andaluz ist - eindeutig ein Papa mit etwas weniger Paddy! Irene hatte das Gefühl, dass er übersehen wurde und entschied sich daher, ihn im Juli desselben Jahres in eine britische Pflegefamilie zu geben, und nicht lange nach seiner Ankunft in der Pflegefamilie wurde er adoptiert. Leider hatte Cisco Schwierigkeiten, mit den Veränderungen zurechtzukommen, die der Zuwachs an Kindern im Heim mit sich brachte. Nach einem Training und einer Verhaltensberatung trafen das Team und die Adoptiveltern die schwierige Entscheidung, dass die veränderte Umgebung einfach zu viel für ihn war und es das Beste war, ihn wieder zu Hause aufzunehmen.

We felt a reset with our specialist foster would give us a really clear picture of what is going on for him,and what he needs moving forward - this did him the world of good and he has now been moved to a foster that can re-create this for him.

Cisco can be an anxious boy, and we feel that either a home as an only dog, or with a smaller calm dog would work best as he can find larger dogs of either sex intimidating. He is not the most playful dog, but will happily have a run alongside any companion in the garden or secure field.

He has been able to really bond with the humans in both foster homes - although he can still be a little more shy with his foster dad he happily cuddles up to all once reassured! He was really curious and affectionate with the team when they met him in foster. He is a low energy dog that just loves to be lounging around on the sofa enjoying cuddles!

Cisco needs a home with no children or cats, so that his stimulation levels can remain where we know they work best, nice and level with a very routine and predictable environment - that being said ha handles London life well. He walks beautifully on the lead and his anxieties drop away when he is confident with his human out and about.

Er ist einfach ein so liebevoller und anhänglicher Junge, er möchte mit Menschen zusammen sein und sich um sie kümmern. Das heißt, er kann für ein paar Stunden am Stück verlassen werden. Er ist ein Feinschmecker und das hat bei der Ausbildung und Bindung sehr geholfen.

Cisco is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
