MORE INFORMATION ON BETTY
Betty recently lost her lifelong guardian. During her guardian’s illness she spent long periods alone at home and her world changed suddenly when she moved into a temporary home. She is being loved and cared for, but the transition has understandably left her confused and emotionally unsettled.
Betty is at heart, a gentle and affectionate girl. She bonds well with adults she trusts. She is fully house-trained, sleeps through the night and enjoys her walks where she happily greets other dogs. Betty has previously lived with other dogs however its Betty’s time to shine, as she is looking for a home where she will be the only dog.
Betty needs a calm, predicatable home where she can adjust at her own pace. She is not keen on loud noises so a quieter environment without children would also be beneficial. She can be nervous in the home sometimes and needs slow, repectful communication and space to chose. She will come to you on her own terms.
Betty is looking for an adopter who understands her confusion, respects her boundaries and can offer a quiet, stable home where she can rebuild her confidence.
Betty is neutered, vaccinated and will be re-tested for Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
