MORE INFORMATION ON ANGEL
Angel was rescued from a truly unimaginable situation. Found in a state of deep shock, he had survived in an environment surrounded by deceased dogs and skeletal remains. When he arrived at our partner shelter, he was severely underweight, dehydrated and emotionally shut down. Loud noises and sudden movements terrified him, and he oftern withdrew from human contact.
Angel’s healing has been slow but steady. With patience, care and gentle trust-building sessions, he’s learning that kindness exists. He now understands that food comes regularly, that humans can be gentle and he is finally safe. He now enjoys regular walks. He’s good with traffic, although a little wary of lorries. He’s sociable with other dogs and often looks to them for reassurance.
Angel is looking for a calm, patient adopter with experience of nervous dogs. A quiet home (city life would not suit him) with canine companion(s) to help him continue to build confidence. Angel is currently receiving treatment for a skin condition.
Angel has endured more than any dog should. Now he deserves peace, love and a forever home where he can continue to heal. He may not rush to greet you, but if you’re willing to earn his trust, the bond will be extraordinary.

Angel is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
