Cisco llegó al centro Hope For Podencos allá por 2019 con su mamá Belle Star, que aunque no lo creas es una Podenco Andaluz completa - ¡claramente papá un poco menos paddy! Irene sintió que lo estaban pasando por alto así que tomó la decisión de enviarlo a acogida en Reino Unido en julio de ese año, no mucho después de llegar a acogida fue adoptado. Lamentablemente, con la llegada de nuevos niños a la casa, Cisco ha tenido dificultades para hacer frente a los cambios que esto ha traído. Tras recibir formación y apoyo conductual, el equipo y el adoptante tomaron la difícil decisión de que el cambio de entorno era demasiado para él y que lo mejor que podíamos hacer era realojarle.

We felt a reset with our specialist foster would give us a really clear picture of what is going on for him,and what he needs moving forward - this did him the world of good and he has now been moved to a foster that can re-create this for him.

Cisco can be an anxious boy, and we feel that either a home as an only dog, or with a smaller calm dog would work best as he can find larger dogs of either sex intimidating. He is not the most playful dog, but will happily have a run alongside any companion in the garden or secure field.

He has been able to really bond with the humans in both foster homes - although he can still be a little more shy with his foster dad he happily cuddles up to all once reassured! He was really curious and affectionate with the team when they met him in foster. He is a low energy dog that just loves to be lounging around on the sofa enjoying cuddles!

Cisco needs a home with no children or cats, so that his stimulation levels can remain where we know they work best, nice and level with a very routine and predictable environment - that being said ha handles London life well. He walks beautifully on the lead and his anxieties drop away when he is confident with his human out and about.

Es un chico muy cariñoso y afectuoso, quiere estar con la gente y que le hagan carantoñas. Es muy cariñoso y quiere estar con la gente. Es muy comilon y esto me ha ayudado mucho con el adiestramiento y la union.

Cisco is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
