Eligibility

The raffle is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 years or over.

Entrants must provide accurate contact information when purchasing their tickets so that Hope for Podencos can contact them if they win a prize.

Hope for Podencos reserves the right to refuse or cancel an entry where it reasonably believes that the entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements, or where an entry has been made fraudulently or otherwise in breach of these terms.

Tickets and entry

A maximum of 50 tickets will be available.

Each ticket costs £10. All tickets are sold at the same price and no discounted or free tickets will be offered.

There is no restriction on the number of tickets an eligible individual may purchase, subject to ticket availability.

Tickets will be available exclusively through the Hope for Podencos website from Wednesday 19 August 2026 until 11.59pm on Saturday 12 September 2026, unless all 50 tickets are sold before this time.

Entry is only confirmed once the required information has been submitted and payment has been successfully received by Hope for Podencos.

Each valid entry will be allocated a unique numbered ticket. Entrants purchasing more than one ticket will receive a separate number for each ticket purchased.

If all 50 tickets are sold before the closing date, entries will close early.

The raffle will proceed regardless of whether all 50 available tickets have been sold.

The draw

The raffle will be drawn on Sunday 13 September 2026.

All valid, paid ticket numbers will be included in the draw. Unsold ticket numbers will not be included.

Winners will be selected at random using a random number generator.

Each winning ticket will be matched to the individual who purchased that ticket.

Each individual ticket can win a maximum of one prize. An entrant who has purchased multiple tickets may therefore win more than one prize if more than one of their ticket numbers is selected.

Prizes

The first prize is a specially commissioned, approximately 20cm Podenco sculpture.

A range of additional prizes will also be awarded. These will include a selection of Hope for Podencos merchandise and donated items and may include dog collars and harnesses, clothing and accessories, pin badges, bags, artwork, stationery and other items.

The final selection of additional prizes may vary from those shown or described in promotional materials. Where reasonably necessary, Hope for Podencos reserves the right to substitute an additional prize with an alternative of a similar nature or value.

Prizes have no cash alternative and may not be exchanged for cash.

UK postage of prizes to winners will be covered by Hope for Podencos.

Winners

Winners will be contacted individually using the contact details supplied when entering the raffle.

Winners’ names will not routinely be published publicly.

Winners must respond within seven days of Hope for Podencos first contacting them.

If a winner does not respond within seven days, despite reasonable attempts to contact them, Hope for Podencos reserves the right to withdraw their entitlement to the prize and conduct a further random draw from the remaining eligible tickets to select a replacement winner.

Entrants are responsible for ensuring that the contact details they provide are correct. Hope for Podencos cannot accept responsibility where it is unable to contact a winner because incorrect or incomplete information has been supplied.

Refunds and cancellation

Raffle ticket purchases are non-refundable, except where Hope for Podencos cancels the raffle or where a refund is otherwise required by law.

If the raffle is cancelled by Hope for Podencos, ticket purchasers will be contacted and the price paid for their raffle tickets will be refunded.

Use of funds

The raffle is being conducted to raise funds for the charitable work of Hope for Podencos.

Net proceeds from the raffle will be used to further the charitable purposes of Hope for Podencos.

Fairness and administration

Hope for Podencos will administer the raffle fairly and in accordance with applicable gambling legislation and the conditions of its small society lottery registration.

Hope for Podencos’ decision regarding the administration of the raffle and application of these terms will be final, subject to entrants’ statutory rights.

Hope for Podencos reserves the right to disqualify any entry where it reasonably believes these terms have been breached or there has been an attempt to manipulate or interfere with the raffle.

Personal information

Personal information provided by entrants will be used for the administration of the raffle, including processing entries, allocating ticket numbers, conducting the draw and contacting winners.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Hope for Podencos’ privacy policy and applicable data protection legislation.
