MORE INFORMATION ON VIVIAN

Vivian was adopted to the UK by another rescue 3 years ago. Sadly due to difficult personal circumstances, her adopters could no longer care for her. We have agreed with her initial rescue to take her on under Hope For Podencos and find a home for her. She is currently in emergency foster in Scotland and we’re looking for either an adoption, or a longer term foster option for her.

She’s a wonderful girl who is well adjusted to life in a home. Clean in the house, will happily settle and relax in between walks. Good with other dogs, although we think she could also live as an only dog. She previously lived with children so she could go into a home with children who are 8+. She is not suitable for cats. Vivian walks nicely on a lead although can be a little apprehensive of busy roads and loud noises, she also finds the car a little bit stressful currently and pants quite a lot but does lie down and settle - we think once she is used to it this will dissipate and we can also help with this. Whilst she is initially shy with people, she soon warms up once she gets to know you.

Vivian is neutered, and we will ensure she is vaccinated and tested for Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
