Cuca is currently living in foster in Spain to help with her weight management - after many years living in kennels waiting for a forever home, food has become a source of comfort for her. She needs her forever home so she can finally settle with regular exercise and stimulation.

Cuca is a happy, sociable and affectionate girl with both humans and other dogs - she has even made friends with the cat in her foster home as you can see from her pictures. She is playful with other dogs and toys, and most out of character for podencos - loves a swim in the sea.

She walks well on the lead and can manage both city and rural lifestyles. She loves being in a home and has adapted well form kenells, a garden is not a must for her as long as she has green spaces locally to explore. She travels well and is not worried by new places.

As you can see form her pictures Cuca is carrying extra weight, whilst she has no health concerns she is currently on a weight management programme to help her loose the extra pounds and this would need to continue in her foster or forever home.

Cuca will be neutered, is vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
