He is such a wonderful chap and we don’t understand why he is being overlooked, so we have built a page just for him!
What is life with Robbie like?
“Living with Robbie has taught us many things; mainly that personal space is a fictional concept, if he isn’t leaning on us he is lying on us, he is big, he is loving and believes he is an Italian Greyhound. Robbie means cuddles, goofiness and a best friend, he brings laughter, loyalty and a whole lot of love. We have watched him trust again, seeing his personality unfold, he has a zest for life, Robbie isn’t too big or too much he is simply waiting for someone to see the incredible companion he can be.”

He loves to play with them, cuddle them, walk with them, travel with them.
And can live with or without another dog(s).

He loves to play with people, cuddle people, sleep on people, greet people!
He’s just a big love bug.

Robbie is a Podenco through and through and has an abundance of character - he is cheeky, we know he is cheeky, and we love it.
Robbie is a clever boy
He does really well with training and learns quickly - he is smart and curious, he can adapt so well he just needs to be given a chance!

Absolutely, he is currently based in Dorking and available for met and greets! Your own location is not an issue as the HFP team can help facilitate to bring him closer to you.

Robbie has lived with young children before and adores them, but he is a big boy and can be a greedy boy so older (12+) dog savvy children a must!

Robbie has lived with Cats in the past yes, and we are open to another placement with confident cats - as long as there is another dog in the home for him to play with!

Yes, Robbie knows where to do his business, a garden definitely a plus for him!

Yes Robbie can be left with another dog for a few hours no problem and does have some experience with crate training.

Robbie loves being in the car but can get a little excited so just needs a helping hand to relax on journeys.

Similar to being in the car, Robbie is an excitable lad who wants to greet everyone he see’s on a walk, so just needs a helping hand to be a little calmer.
